A Flower

Had this image in my head for a while, so I thought, "why not use it to practice some coloring?"
Really proud of this one because I hardly sketched anything, except for the walls and the creature man.
Probably needs a bit more contrast.... ah well.

So the story goes like this: It's 21 century, and all could not be worse; the superpowers of the world are walking on the thin, sharp blade of war. Everyone's ammunition is stocked up in mountains; Meanwhile, there are plenty of weapons to arm every unborn child.
The bull has been tied up long enough, and he wants blood; however, before any soldier could be deployed, or any ship sail off, a miss-calculation occurs: someone pushes the button. Soon the sky is filled with swift fire and sound breaking thuds; every missile and bomb takes off into the sky, simply following its herald. No place was safe.
Those who where lucky enough to escape the seemingly never-ending hell, rose up from the ashes, with only few cuts and bruises; but none could have predicted the consequences. The SKEE, emerged from god-forsaken subways, or piles of rubble, searching this new world for a warm meal. Their quick reflexes, incomparable strength, and violent lust for blood made them formidable predators, but the humans managed (just barely) to survive.
Some believe that the SKEE are remnants from the war, unused bio-weapons of some sort.
Others believe that these god awful creatures use to be human, but something (be it radiation or dramatic adaption) forced them to become these monsters.
This is a picture depicting a SKEE who has lost it all, yet his former mind is still present.

(Been thinking about making this a comic of sorts.... we'll see)
